What is Laser Jeunesse?

Laser Jeunesse (or the ‘Laser Facial’ as we often refer to it) is a ‘near-infrared (NIR) laser which provides long-lasting stimulation of elastin, making it perfect for skin rejuvenation. It is primarily used to treat scarring, redness and broken blood vessels, although it can also be effective at reducing wrinkles, age spots, uneven texture and fine lines.

How does it work?

This treatment heats the dermis layer of the skin. This results in toxins being released through the lymphatic system, and causes the tissue to form new collagen.

How many treatments will I need?

To achieve ideal results we recommend six treatments performed once a fortnight, with maintenance treatments to ensure the longevity of the results.

What do I need to do post-treatment?

After your treatment it’s important to avoid exposure to the sun, and to heat in general – avoid spa pools, hot baths or saunas for the first couple of days. You may notice a little bruising, redness or swelling, but this will disappear within the first few days.
