Is it painful?

The Dynamic Cooling Device (GentleCool PRO DCD) we use with our Candela laser makes it feel as though you’re simply being sprayed with cool gas. The treatment is virtually painless – and much less painful than waxing!

Why is laser better than IPL?

While IPL (or Intense Pulsed Light) is often confused with laser treatment, the two methods are quite different, and produce significantly different results. With IPL, broad spectrum light is swept over the general area being treated. A laser, on the other hand, is much more precise, focusing all of its energy on each individual follicle. This makes the treatment far more effective. In addition, the chances of damaging or burning the skin are considerably higher with IPL.
